Before you write

The cats who live here are home. DharmaCats is a permanent sanctuary, and the cats in our care are not available for adoption.

To protect the care, space, and steadiness of the cats already here, DharmaCats is not currently accepting new cats.

If you are worried about a cat, write to us anyway. We will answer honestly, and where we can we will point you toward someone who can help.

Also worth knowing

For anything medical, please talk to a veterinarian — we can share what we have learned, but we cannot take their place.
We are always glad to hear from other people caring for cats — fosters, rescuers, neighbors feeding cats outside, and groups nearby.
DharmaCats is an Arizona nonprofit.

A place where you are safe, where you belong, and where you are accepted as you are — all your days.
